Through the mountains - Morocco Part III

Waking up in Dar Lorkam, my first thought was that I can't believe I'm in Morocco, the second was, time for breakfast! The place was owned by a charming french lady who provided great service and fortunately for me, good food. We packed a picnic lunch and headed out in the morning, this time crossing the Tizi n'Tazazert towards Nkob. We drove through the mountains and were properly off roading it. At times I couldn't discern what was road and what was just random driving. I've experienced some hair pin bends in my time but what we experienced there, well, had all of us gripping the car and placing all faith in our driver, Abdul. He was outwardly calm but at moments we could see his struggle. By the time we reached the other side and finally flat land a great sigh passed through the car. It was exhilarating and exciting! I'll never forget what it felt like to have lunch high up in the mountains like that, the world spread below. Beats lunch time in the office any day !
